Elliot was diagnosed with a "Salter-Harris" fracture of his thumb today. This is a fractured of the bone & growth plate. We ask for your prayers... He still wants to start and play opening day for his little league baseball team! He goes to the orthopedic surgeon Tuesday at 1PM... Keep him in your prayers. This is Elliot's first broken bone...

My first big hit for 2009. Our 10 year old EE all-star team vs. Pittsburgh's all-stars. Stand-Up double in the second inning. We had a blast playing at Pugh Field... Thanks to the Pugh's for the wonderful hospitality!

Sunday Altoona Mirror Newspaper...Elliot Mast, 10 pitches to A.J. Labriola, 9 as Mast's father, Don, catches Saturday on 22nd Avenue. They practiced their skills, and the pitcher would throw to the "batter" who would either swing or stand still. But the batter didn't have a bat. If the pitcher missed the catcher's glove, he would have to chase after the ball...
